I am writing to thank you for outstanding customer serivce that i received this past week at Back To Bed in DeKalb, IL. Thank you so much for the excellent product and service offered by Kanton Williams. He was extremely polite, helpful, and knowledgeable on sleep products. Kanton Also offered respect, which I appreciated. Other vendors acted more like used car dealers - badgering the customer until they purchased the product. I was very satisfied with Back To Bed and Kanton Williams. He was not only courteous, pleasant, and easy to work with, but Kanton made this a great buying experience. Your staff answered every question not only with an answer, but the answer had enthusiasm and energy! I truly walked away from this experience feeling like your staff was there to serve me.
Again, thank you for having the product I wanted to buy, and also staffing your store with people who were greateful to serve. Keep up the good work. We will be back to buy more products.

A Pleasure Dealing with John Mark in St. Charles
Last month I had the pleasure of dealing with John Mark at your Back to Bed outlet near Portillo's in St. Charles, Illinois. I needed a mattress/box spring set, King Size, that my fiancée would not find uncomfortable yet which would provide substantial support for my painful back problems.
John was courteous and most attentive--and incredibly helpful, explaining step by step what to expect and why from each of several possibilities he thought best. And he explained his own experiences mattress wise, having severe back problems (including operations) himself.
His help was invaluable--and never pushy. I selected one and arranged for delivery some days later, explaining they would need to hit the delivery window sure (as otherwise nobody would be home)--and deliver for sure as otherwise we would have no place to sleep that night as we were just moving
in. That morning I called him to get the number of the delivery service to make sure they were aware of the time constraints and of the absolute necessity of not postponing the delivery date. To my pleasant surprise, John had already called earlier and double checked and everything was fine--a continuation of the absolutely wonderful service he had already
provided.
I still have a problem back, but Im pleased to say the problem has substantially reduced--and my fiancee has no comfort complaints. Whether or not, gentle reader, you have back problems, see John if you are in the mattress market. If you have a back problem, you absolutely should see him--or silly, needlessly pained you!! Listen to me! I'm 61 and never before wrote a glowing report like this. I wax poetic not! Believe it!

Defect in Mattress Taken Care of by Robert in Algonquin
Hi Brian,
I wanted to thank you and your organization for stepping up and replacing my 3 year-old mattress that had lost it's proper support. That said, Robert Liou really made the difference from a customer support standpoint otherwise I would've have gone elsewhere regardless of price or offering. Robert helped us choose the right bed 3 years ago for each member of our family - 4 beds in all. When I called him recently regarding our issue with the Milan King "sagging" he was very pleasant, professional and above all sincere to help. My experience with Robert has confirmed for me that Back To Bed understands the value of customer service - it's the people that make the difference.

Truly amazed
I would just love to inform whoever is interested about the customer service I had received yesterday while at the Kenosha, WI location. I have been looking for a bed prior to yesterday for approx 2 months and could not decide. The representative made my experience very smooth and painless! There was no rush and his patience was unbelievable! I didnt want to rush into a purchase so I spent quite a bit of time laying on beds and the whole time he was very polite and pleasant. I just wanted to let whomever was concerned know that you have an outstanding Employee that went above and beyond and how much of a great asset he is to your company if you didn’t already know. Just wanted to say that we appreciated the outstanding service provided to us by John Huggins in the Gurnee store a couple months back. He was polite, patient, and very knowledgeable. We bought a new king bed and are very happy with it. The delivery people were also outstanding, polite and very efficient. We also love the free sheets. When I buy more I will look for the exact same ones. Only "complaint" if you could call it that is the decor at the Gurnee store -- could really use some color & personality! 1) Drivers delivered my Simmons Beautyrest yesterday at 5:00. They were prompt, efficient, friendly and when they left I had a smile on my face. Thanks for the nice experience.
2) Purchaed from the store in St. Charles from Aaron McHugh. Really knowledgeable guy when it comes to beds. Also left a smile on my face. Nice guy too.
3) Your web site doesn't have the above facility listed - it has one listed at the corner of Army Trail and County Farm Road - I drove there - it does not exist. I continued driving around toward St. Charles and "happened" upon the one across from Charlestown Mall. You might want to fix the web site.

I wanted to contact you to let you know my positive experience when I purchased a mattress from your company as I was on my way to Darvin Furniture in Orland Park I heard an ad on the radio about Back To Bed and a Free Grill - the ad was so good it caught my attention and as I was a half a block away from Darvin I saw one of your stores - I thought I would stop in and see what you had to offer - I was pleasantly greeted by DJ Hovis and the atmosphere of the store was inviting and clean - He was very knowledgeable and took time to go through all the detail sof the mattresses in the store - It was a non pressured sale but I knew he was determined to keep me in the store and sell me a mattress - He was professional and knowledgeable - the kind of employee everyone wants in their business - I too am a sales peron and hard to sell to - he was impressive and I left buying a Simmons Beauty Rest Anniversary Mattress -
It was delivered on Friuday as promised since it was nmot in stock and had to be made for me - which was not a problem - the delivery men were 5 minutes early and very polite and ready - They carried it up 3 flights of steps and took away all of the rubbish quickly and efficiently -
The best part is the mattress is terrific - comfortable and exactly what I wanted - when you spend that much money $2600 total (I took the discount vs the grill) you hope that the experience is exactly as you would expect - I would appreciate if you could pass this email along to higher management so that they get to hear the good experiences when buying from one of their stores.

Ed was Very Friendly, Helpful, and Knowledgeable
I just wanted to thank you for the referral you provided to Ed, at the Elmhurst Back To Bed store. My husband and I went on Saturday morning to look at mattresses and Ed was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He quickly understood what we were looking found a great mattress for my son. Compelled To Write To The Home Office Singing The Praises Of An Employee: Robert Liou at Algonquin

To whom it may concern -
We wanted to write in regard to your sales person, Robert Liou, at your Algonquin location. I have worked in customer service oriented jobs for 31 years. I give great customer service and I always expect to receive the same when I shop, but am largely disappointed. However, this is the first time I can remember being compelled to write to a home office singing the praises of an employee!
Robert is a true asset and his qualities are rare. He was very informative; it was clear he knew his product and also the effects of sleep, interrupted sleep, etc. He had an answer for every question. He was able to demonstrate, and explain details in a way that educates the customer respectfully, without making them feel stupid. He was gentle and patient, and never once made us feel that we needed to hurry things along. In fact, we kept him there past closing and I kept apologizing for doing so, but he wasn't the least bit upset about it and assured us it was okay and happens sometimes.
Robert spent time explaining things about every mattress we tried, every pillow, every chair - even those things we clearly weren't planning to buy, like the chair - and did so with gentleness and pride in his products.
He was the kind of sales person you
WANT to buy from! I found myself hoping he would make a good, hefty commission off of this sale, because he deserved it. We were never pressured for a second, never pressed towards items we couldn't afford or didn't need. Instead, by his knowledge, we were guided to what we wanted to go with. He in no way tried to upsell us, and yet, because of his skill and all of the rest, we
chose to do what, for us would've been unthinkable prior to that day - and that was to spend $300.00 on
2 pillows!! Yikes!! It sounds crazy to us still, but yet Robert is able to convey the value and benefits so beautifully and seamlessly, we had to have them, and can't wait to receive our delivery!
At the very least, I sincerely hope he will be acknowledged by the company for his outstanding customer service! I'm going to try to send him more customers. I would also suggest you consider Robert to help train other sales people to do things as he does. He deserves your recognition, as well as a raise!! We can only hope that, if needed, any service after the sale will be just as kind!

Altogether The Best Retail Experience I Have Ever Had
I would like to take just a moment of your time to thank you for hiring some of the most polite, professional, nicest people I have dealt with in retail.
I'll start with Tina, the salesperson at the mundelein (Target Plaza) store. She ws incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and eager to help. Arnie, also at the Mundelein store, was a whiz at getting delivery set up for me in record time and did it with a smile. Juan and Esau delivered the mattress and box spring and head and foot boards. They took the old mattress/box spring down steep stairs, brought the queen mattress/box spring, head and foot boards - again up steep stairs - assembled the entire set up in 15 minutes. And they, too, did the work with smiles, professionalism and knowledge. Then calls Kwame. Just to make sure everything went according to plan. And yet again, another lovely individual who just wanted to make certain I was happy with the purchase, the delivery.
As I said, altogether the best retail experience I may have ever had. Hats off to your hiring people. More, though, hats off to the five people I dealt with. They are the best!
You can bet that when I need further bedding, Back To Bed will be where I go - and where I will send the people I know.

We are previous customers of Back To Bed. We purchased our king Tempur Pedic at your Schaumburg store, and found ourselves back there when our 3 year-old grandson needed a twin bed.
We went in and asked for the least expensive bed, and your Store Manager, Lee Mugnolo, treated us with the same courtesy and respect as if we were purchasing your most expensive bed on the floor. He was humorous, patient, helpful, and sincere. We had been to numerous stores and they were all hard-core sales people. Lee just wanted what was best for our situation.
For that reason, I am writing to commend Lee Mugnolo and let you know what a great asset he is to your company.

Garrett was Incredibly Patient and Informative
To whom it may concern,
A couple of weeks ago, we were shopping for a new bed and decided to stop into Back To Bed at 1008 N. Rohlwing Road in Addison. We had relatively no idea of what type or size of bed we wanted, just that we needed something to quickly replace our rapidly deteriorating mattress at home.
We were expecting to walk away with just a bed - we didn't expct to receive the type of outstanding customer service which Garrett provided.
Garrett was incredibly patient and informative, offering us a great deal of information on every model we looked at. Because of his great service, we found the perfect bed for our needs. Not only that, but he went out of his way to make sure the bed could be delivered to our residence the same day.
We have found ourselves in many situations where customer service is nothig more than a bad afterthought. It is refreshing to have such pleasant experience with a helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and professional sales rep like Garrett.
