Argyle Headboard, Footboard & Frame

The Argyle bed is named for the diamond pattern wire design casted below the 54 ½” top rail of the headboard and just above the bottom rail of the 31 ½” footboard. The grills are composed of five sets of double spindles also casted together. There is a curved piece of metal tube added to the bottom of the footboard which gives a bit of additional flair to the design. The finish is called Copper Chrome and is a mixture of copper and silver streaked with black antiquing – which will allow the bed to coordinate with many types of wood accessory pieces.

Baroque Bed with Side Rails

The Baroque bed, as its name implies is very florid and ornate. The posts are monstrous -especially since they’re topped with massive cast finials and sturdy feet. The headboard grill is adorned with a large center casting and supported by 60” high posts. The footboard – supported by 36” posts, is a concave design that dips in the center. There are also large sloping side rails that are as fancifully decorated as the grills. Even the Gilded Slate finish is elaborate – it is a black base, with a hand-applied coat of mottled translucent white paint – which gives it a bluish hue, highlighted with gleaming gold. This bed is certainly a statement piece and will need a large room to contain it.

Dexter Headboard, Footboard, and Frame

The Dexter Bed portrays the uniquely historic look of simple beds from an era we thought was gone. The geometry of the bed relies exclusively on right angles to create a handsome bed with pared down fussiness. The clean intersections of the vertical and horizontal elements reveal a decidedly masculine profile. Both the head and footboard provide five spindles. The headboard displays 8 solid castings, and the footboard a whopping 13. This element gives the overall construction a hearty and sturdy nature not found in other beds at this price point. Dynasty Headboard, Footboard, and Frame

The Dynasty bed is designed to survive the ages. The imposing 1” heavy top rail defines strength, durability and quality. Tall posts anchor the massive frame to the floor. A camelback headboard and footboard arch upwards. Underneath, a bold looped pattern spreads out dramatically and each scroll design is finished with gold highlighted casted ends. Widely spaced metal bars spread across the bottom of both grills. Simple, but detailed, scalloped finials embellish the top of the posts to complete this substantial piece. The multi-step Autumn Brown finish -- textured brown lightly sponged with a gold tint and a soft gold highlight on the castings, finials and feet -- gives the Dynasty added sophistication as well as a natural touch.
